I have an 04 F350 with the 6.0. I welded the EGR shut at both ends to prevent exhaust and coolant from getting into the intake. I changed the oil cooler while I had the engine apart. There is a repiar thread on here to show how to do it.

The 6.4 is a different motor alltogether. What tuner are you running? What setting is the tuner on? If you fill out your sig, it would be easier to answer the question.

Sorry guys I'm new to the forum,, the trucks a working progress, I just ordered blackmax tuner, 5 " turbo back exhaust and I have an airaid air intake already installed. I know the black max will tuurn it off but I have been told if I block it I'm likely to get a extra mpg if that ,

I didn't gain any fuel economy with block off plates.....just a lot of back pressure. I don't use them anymore.
