I have an 04 F350 with the 6.0. I welded the EGR shut at both ends to prevent exhaust and coolant from getting into the intake. I changed the oil cooler while I had the engine apart. There is a repiar thread on here to show how to do it.

The 6.4 is a different motor alltogether. What tuner are you running? What setting is the tuner on? If you fill out your sig, it would be easier to answer the question.

I didn't gain any fuel economy with block off plates.....just a lot of back pressure. I don't use them anymore.
