only if you want to change tunes and it is a safe thing to just leave it in. That way if for some reason you are on the road and need to change you can!

2009 F-250 6.4L with a 2"sup lift 35" Dick Cepecs with 20" incubus rims. DPF delete, Airaid CAI, with Spartan 210 tune
2008 Big Dog K-9, 117 CI S&S motor with a 300mm rear tire, triple x carb, custom stainless creation disorder pipes. 106 hp & 117 tq to the rear tire.

Don't leave it in the DashDAQ at all times because of heat. It can corrupt the files on the card. I would suggest putting it in your center console if your not changing tunes. Don't take it out of your truck though, you might get in an emergency situation where you need to load up a different tune.

Even if you leave it somewhere else in the truck, I always suggest saving a copy of all your files on your computer, just in case.
