Pure Power Cleanable Oil and fuel filters

Filters - Pure Power! Lifetime Drop-in Filter - PurePower!, Inc.

Anybody tried these or heard anything about them?
They also have Fuel filters. Any input is welcome.

I think a thread came up about these or another company similar to these. Basically feedback was either positive or negative....but mostly negative If I remember correctly.

For the money, I don't see it being cost effective for the oil filter unless you run a fleet. don't forget that the o-ring needs changing when you change the filters. The o-ring will start leaking after a couple changes. I would be interested to see how the element captures small particles and cleaning it off between changes.

I don't think I would trust my engine to a filter that doesn't get changed. I don't see how it could filter and be cleaned good enough to protect my investment.

we use reusable filters in aviation,but we also use an ultrasonic cleaner.just kinda depends how you clean it.
