Oil consumption

Just wondering what guys are seeing for oil consumption. I know a lot of guys say they have none but there has to be some, every engine uses some oil. I'm curious to see if I'm using a normal amount or excessive. DPF off of course.Thanks.

Its hard to tell, because under regen, some diesel will get in the oil and offset the loss caused by consumption. After 3000 miles for me, it seems to be right where i left it when i did the oil change.

Yuppers, manual says you can go 16,000km's on regular dino oil. I don't drive grid roads or dusty conditions. I don't pull any heavy loads and I don't drive like I stole it. If regular dyno oil can go 16,000 i figure full synthetic should be able too.

Yeah, I'd really love to hear the gospel on oil change intervals... last time I started a thread about it, I got answers all over the place.
