EGTs during regular driving

Hey guys,
I have ha my Spartan for about a month now and I'm wondering what everyones temps are during regular driving? Running 65 mph, I rn Bout 5 psi, and between 600-650 on the egts. That's on the 250 tune, with the 4" cat/dpf delete. Also running an AFe drop in filter. I assume these are fairly normal temps? I'm trhinking of going 5" from the filter back for the rest of the exhaust. Is this worth it, or should I just stay 4" the rest of the way? BTW, I love this tuner so far! Gone from hand calculated 14.7 to 18.4 mpgs so far!!

Those temps are pretty good for unloaded. 4" should be fine for the 250 tune.

5" won't make a difference that far back. A 4" downpipe is the only thing that will help with EGT's as far as exhaust goes. Your EGT's are fine though.

Jeff,
Is there an advantage to the exhaust from the delete back then? Besides just looks? That by itself would be worth it!

With bigger tunes, yes the air flow brings an advantage. Other than that, no advantage at all.
