Hey guys I tried a search and didnt turn up much. Does anyone have any experience with the the hypertech econ? I know the power gain is minimal but I am looking for something to boost my MPG and the price is right.

With your DPF still on the truck, your not going to see much gains....maybe 1-1.5

The canned programmers are all pretty much the same, as for economy, it should get you maybe 2mpgs max if you drive it like an old granny..... If you just want the economy, quick, cheap, and simple, go for the HyprTch Econ

thanks for the input guys. I'm on the fence with it, I'm pretty happy with the power the truck has stock. I guess the E-CON will be a bandaid fix till I go for a better programmer.

how much is the e-con? why not just keep saving and add the e-con money into something that's better a little later down the road? just my .02

I have the Hypertech Max energy and ran it on my two previous 6.4's. I noticed a good power gain and about 1 mpg better. You can definitely tell it's on there but it's no Spartan or H&S. You get what you pay for. But there is a huge price difference. I will let mine go for pretty cheap if your interested as it has just been sitting in my console ever since I bought this new truck.
