Just wanted to get some feedback.
My truck revs to about 2500 rpm prior to shifting in first couple gears.
It makes lots of normal noise and revs like hell but goes nowhere so it seems.
Any ides guys:dunno:
Trans built but not suncoast.
Spartan tunes all but 350
250 tune in now, does it in 275 and 310 mild tune also
Seems like it should pull much harder in first couple gears.
Stock TCM or our TCM? If you are running the stock TCM then I don't know what it is. If you are running the Spartan TCM, take it out and put in the stock TCM.
I am not sure then....I have never had issues with the stock TCM and shift flares. How much fluid do you have in the tranny? Did you go with a deep pan on your tranny?
Well, I will say that at WOT my truck shifts so much better with the higher tunes than it does with the lower tunes. Higher tunes and part throttle suck right now, even with traction bars....but then again I am running the Spartan TCM and line pressure is much higher.
If i take off normally from a lite and lightly ease into the throttle the rpms will sit at 3000 rpms and just hold it for a while then eventally shift.
It does this from first to second and second to third. Then it pulls more.
I think it's the converter. The tranny guy added more stall and i think that was a bad idea.
