Just purchased SCT looking for Tune Reviews

I just purchased an SCT and ive been searching on here with little luck.

Im looking at some feedback on differnt tunes you guys have ran and what your experience was.

Which tune thats in the SCT out of the box should i run and should i start at the low setting and drive it for a day or so then work up so the truck and get used to it?

I would go with Eric at Innovative's custom tunes. They seem to be the most popular.

I have a sct livewire with Innovative tunes and my only complaints are the check engine light is always on and the tunes produce alot of smoke. Other than that the power is great.

Why are the check engine light on with the sct? Is that always or just with the innovative tunes?

Answer Yes to the EGR Delete questions and your CEL will be off.

Are the big tunes on the sct safe for daily driving it seems like a 300whp tune is pretty stout.

I thought this was the 6.0l section

EDIT: It's the luck of the draw with these trucks, some will have tranny problems and some will puke. But then again, they're people who've ran 300hp tunes all day long for years with no problems.

A friend of mine has Eric's tunes and they are awsome. He is pretty hard on his truck and runs the extreme race tune all the time so his trans is going out but thats the only problem he has had. I'll stick with my H&S special tune though.
