intercooler pipe

has anyone swapped out there stock intercooler pipe for a 3"?
curious if it helped with throttle response or ?

I think elite diesel makes a dual tube design that bolts right in and does the same thing.

Elite does make a dual tube design that does not rub and we make one that does not require grinding.

I just installed both a 4"DP and the 3" IC ppg, you do notice quicker spool up and for the DP I noticed abot 50/100 difference, it was worth the money for me as I pull a 15,000# 5th wheel and I do notice a difference. Call Aaron for your IC and or a DP, great price and shipping as normal right on, no delays in getting your items. Just a note, no grinding required for the install with the IC ppg from Aaron.

pulling up an old thread here but how long did the install take you guys? im going to tackle this tomorrow morning. i have the pipe and new boots and a bottle of hairspray

Im running the one from Rudy's i believe its from powerstroke67 if im not mistaken... Fits ok i had to trim the support and its still rattles under medium boost so i have to trim more which im not happy about
