I am going to the track sometime in the next few weeks. I will be running the new 350 tune, and probably the 310 tune as well. My setup will include a new full Suncoast and Pro Comp traction bars. I am also going to a slightly smaller tire from what I have now. The current tires are 35.2 tall and 12.9 wide. The new tires will be Toyo AT 305/60/20's which are 34.3 tall and 12.6 wide. What do you guys think I can run with this setup???
NOTE - I ran a 12.96@102.2 with the original 310 production tune, Spartan TCM, Air Dog II, intake, and exhaust last September. This was with the stock tranny, my current tires, tail gate off, spare tire on, and no traction bars. |

On the 350 tune I'm going to say 12.6 @ 107. On the 310, maybe .1 faster and one MPH better than the 310 on the stock trans? Just a guess.
I don't know what you're launch technique is, but when I had my truck at the track I could not do these 18 psi launches that I have seen others talk about. On the 310 tune I couldn't even launch at 15 psi without MAJOR wheel hop. Boost just comes on to quickly. On a side note, I got my truck back and everything seems to be working well so far.

I have an idea but dont want to come across negative. Do you think with the 350 tune you will be in danger of draining the rail?? You might see what Im getting at. The 310 might be a better time...

I'm saying 12.75 at 105, hopefully it is better though!

A few trucks have ran 12.6 - 12.7 with 37s on Innovative's big tune. If the Spartan 350 is close you should run a 12.5 - 12.60 with the 34s. If you could get some 17s with 265s i know you would run that.

Jeffery, if you want consistency, launch by RPM not by boost.
I think with a good 60' time you can go 12.5-12.6's |
