I was told that Spartan will not make a lope tune. It is bad for the engine.

That does not sound healthy, IMHO. Any side effects with the RCD tune?

They didn't say that they wouldn't make it b/c it is bad for the engine i dont' think. They said they won't because its taking steps backwards. They've already worked hard to get it to idle flawlessly and there is no purpose or function of a lope tune other than sounding cool.

A member on here or over at TDG had high idle kick in on his truck with the lope tune in and it proceeding to redline the truck everytime. He had to pull up his pants and run from the toilet to turn it off.

Ya true, no point in taking steps back when truck idle already sounds so damn good

I think I also read that some had an issue witht he RCD tune in cold weather, and the engine ran away. I am not sure where or with who, but over revved. If looking into the tune, something to look into.
