Intake and DP back question

im new to the diesel scene, i have a 2010 250 it has 26 miles on it and i want to do a filter back exhaust for now, should i do 5" or 4"? and what intakes are good for the 6.4 ????? thanks

2010 FX4, superchip cortex, 3" lift, 20" gear injectors (black), 35x12.50 trail grapplers

With the exhaust, it depends on your personal preference. The downpipe is smaller than any filter back exhaust you can get. For the intake, I like the S&B, the AFE is also a good setup. Let us know if we can help.

will i notice and sound difference from the 4" to the 5". i have heard that it will be deeper and i have heard no there is no difference until u delete the DPF

and will the intake have any effect on the sound or tone of the exhaust ?

I went with the MBRP 5" dpf back and noticed maybe a little deeper tone, but not much. I've also heard of some trucks throwing a CEL with the exhaust, but my truck never through any.
