30 pounds of boost- regular driving

Hello everyone. im new to the forum and really dont know much. i have a f450 08 model. i have done a sct programmer (on extreme right now) a dpf and cat delete and a AFE intake.

i currently, just driving around town, (regular driving) get a ton of boost. if i leave a red light and just accelerate into traffic about 1/3 throttle it goes up to about 20 to 30 lbs. then if i gas it it takes off and the boost doesnt really change much. i just comes alive.

i am worried because of warranty and i just dont want to screw anything up.

so my question is... is this normal.

there are no crazy sounds or anything to make me believe there is something wrong.

I had the same issue with my 2008 F450 a while back. I was running the Spartan 175 tune at the time. I loaded the 210 tune and have been fine ever since. Never did figure why it did it but switching to another tune or reloading that tune might be worth a shot.

thanks for the reply. i only happens when im speeding up. then when i sustain a speed it goes away..... thanks and did yours do this......

It was doing it at sustained speeds not just during acceleration.

yeah mine is just when im speeding up. my boost not pulling anything is usually around 10 or so, nothing crazy.......

yours did it all the time...?????
