banks vs spearco intercoolers?

anyone have any advice on intercoolers banks or spearco? thanks

they are both great IC's. If it were me i would go with Spearco just because i think banks overprices all the rest of their gear and i wouldnt give them my business.

But both of those IC's have great reputations and i personally know people running both and they love them. I would go with a 6.0 one just to get the little extra cooling power though

yeah their IC's are like a totally different game than the rest of their gear.

You can't go wrong with either one. If the banks is $300 cheaper then go for that. But you know you can build your own kit for around $350 total right?

not for a 6.4 :

go with spearco i have heard of ppl having problems with the banks ic leaking

he has a 6.4? I was assuming it was a 7.3 since he was inquiring about putting a intercooler in it. Didnt even look at the section it was under, my fault.

yeah i noticed that once i saw the "6.4 performance section". I didnt ever read that before i answered.

But still even for a 6.4 banks and spearco make a good product when it comes to IC's and both have had a couple problems in the past but not enough to worry about

I have a Banks Intercooler that was on my 08 for just 3 weeks before I sold it. It worked great. I want $850 plus shipping.

spearco claims a little more boost. but want a bolt on with no mods.for 6.4
