What Next?
I'm new to the deisel world, so I'm piecing this together. So far: Spartan, DPF/CAT delete, and currently waiting on a B&S intake to get here(should be here Mon.) What else should I look into. I run the 210 tune as a daily driver. Not going to the track or anything, but would like to be able to toast someone from a red light if needed. I like how it performs now, but seems like it could use a little more. Maybe the intake will help. Also, seems to be a little stumble when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. Every other gear feels good. Any advice for more power?

what all tunes do you have?
as far as the shifting goes.....the truck takes a little bit of time to learn.... did you get the TCM from Spartan? Other things to look into would be a cold side tube and new downpipe.......those will both help the truck breath alot better! |

TCM? I'm trying to keep it as easy to go back stock in case something happened and I have to take it to the dealership, but maybe not.

Thanks...in the picture 4.5 but Ive recently added another inch
TCM is a transmission control module.......greatly helps shifts depending on which job build you have. It would be easy to change out if you were going into the dealer the cold side tube and downpipe wouldnt be so easy so best to wait for those. |

Thanks. How much $ for TCM? What about a different muffler/exhaust or straight pipe out? MBRP? What size rims/tires you running?

The TCM is 700........PM in regards to that.......I will be selling mine shortly.
As for muffler....you dont need one.....some run them just to get rid of the "hairdryer" sound. I run MBRP after the DPF delete and I love their products. rims are 22x9.5 tires are 37x13.50 |

I don't have any of thr CL tunes. 250 is the biggest tune I have. It seems to shift a little hard. I run the 210 tune. I'm afraid of tranny trouble. Don't want to have to peel out that kind of dough just yet. I do need a TCM. Definately will be getting one soon. Will 37s fit with a 2" front/rear lift. Trying to decide on some rims/tires. I think I'm going with the Trail Grapplers, but haven' decided on rims yet. 20" or 22". Don't want to rub and don't want to lift any more just yet. Any suggestions?

You won't need a TCM unless you go to the 310 and 350 tune. The 275 and under tunes are all safe on the tranny as long as you keep the fluid changed regularly and don't abuse it. The 250 shifts are firmer to keep the clutch discs alive. If they were soft, they wouldn't be grabbing as well.
