Cheapest (although maybe the longest) build for a 6.4

So I finally got everything together for the build and it will be done tomorrow. Here is the final breakdown for costs

used s&b intake from member at thedieselstop.com- $150
dpf/doc delete pipes from cobbs- $220
used sct with idp extreme race from member on this forum- $350
story on the tuner is I had to send it back across the country to get it unlocked by the previous owner but he was helpful and payed the shipping although it was about a 2 week delay.

Grand total of $720!!! Eat that $1300 spartan!!lol
I did go ahead and get a river city tune for daily driving for another $150 so I guess I have $870 in it but that's With 2 custom tunes and the price is way better than $2000 for a complete Spartan setup!!

Tuner is on and I did a custom mount (pics to come) river city tune won't be here till Monday and I will prolly do the dpf Sunday afternoon. Truck runs great with just the sct tune and the dpf still on, can't wait to get the rcd tune.

I do have a question though. Seller told me He thought it had the innovative extreme race tune on it but when I go to custom tunes it just says "race tune" is that what anyone else sees for their innovative tune?? I am a little scared to run it because I'm not sure our strat codes match and I really don't need to break anything!! Ex-a tranny!

Good Buy on Good stuff, Congratz. It seems Under 1K is becomming more doable lately.
Im thinking Spartan may need to come up with some new goods to justify the cost for what they have now. The competition seems to be heating up.

I got everything you have, except my tuner is one of the older KEM tuned suerchips. Bought everything used and did it all for under $650.... I gave myself a two pats on the back for my good deal'n!!!

I sent my Livewire in to Innovative and had them remove the SCT canned tunes and replace them with their tunes. Mine has tow, street, extreme street, and extreme race. If the original owner had Innovative email him the tune it would be whatever he named it. I have RCD's 585, 530 Race and street, 525, and their tow tune as well as some older Innovative tunes. I usually have them named like RCD race or Innovative Race or street. Hope that helps. I would ask Innovative about the strategy codes not matching.
