Almost DONE....

Well it has been almost 7 months for my truck back on the road, and we are having a few issues.

I have installed an EGR Delete, and the truck seem not responsive. Black smoke everywhere, no power until going.

I have the spartan 310 tune, that has not been tuned for the EGR delete / cooler removal.

The truck is not producing any boost at idle.... Is this a WG issue?

or

Could the veins in the turbos be rusted / stuck open, thus bleeding off teh boost and making the truck smoke like crazy.....??

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks!

Mike

Should be producing 1-2 lbs at idle. If not, the wastegate is probably the problem. Make sure the turbo actuator back in.

Had another customer with EGR delete installed by dealership with same problem. When they put the wastegate on they lost the seat, therefore the wastegate couldn't close.
