these engines can sustain 1450* without skipping a beat...the dasdaq preset warning for EGT from spartan is 1600 though...wierd

1250-1300 sustained to stay safe. Pistons start to melt at some point...

the factory settings defuel at a higher temp than that...

When you guys are running 1/4 mile with the 310 Spartan, what are you seeing for EGTs by the end of the run? Thanks, Mike
