Squealing coming from turbo.

Has anyone had a squealing noise coming from the turbo. It started a few weeks ago and now is there all the time. Its there at idle and gets louder then goes away when the engine is under load. I installed a exhaust and spartian tuner about 3000 miles ago. Just hate to go back to stock if its a easy fix. Kinda sounds like a air leak but dont know. Also there is smoke coming from the back of the engine when you give it gas. Thanks.

You have an exhaust leak most likely. Could be the turbo up pipes leaking. How many miles are on your truck?

Well there is your problem! You can't put gas through a diesel..... But seriously it does sound like you have an up-pipe, or EGR pipe leak. Jeff sounds to be on the right track. Also could be a downpipe leak, but they usually wont "squeal" like the pre-turbo pipes.
