Finally figured out how to describe my trans issues with my spartan tunner

Curious is anyone else is experiencing this. I've seen other threads on the rev/slam. And that is definitely not my issue. My truck is basically trying to "flare" the 1-2 or the 2-2 shift when hard on the throttle running the 250 now. Now my concern is, its only done this since spartan updated its tuning files a few weeks ago. My truck is a job 1, and the fluid level is fine(i just drained the pan and changed filter about 6-7k ago).

Today leaving a stop light from a dead stop the truck took off, and when it went to shift 1-2 it flares and then BANG, it did this about 2 weeks ago getting on the freeway going from 2-3 also.
Im curious if im the only one having this issue, and if im not what is spartan doing to correct it?
Im away from home for a week, but when i get home i will check the fluid again, re-tune and re-learn, and if the problem is still there, the tuner is coming off. Im not risking a transmission over a stupid tuner.

No, because i've only experienced it once(the second and third times were my wife), and have NOT done a re-learn yet. I want to eliminate simple stuff first.

no. Infact i've only towed with the truck maybe 8-10 times in 3 years.

It could be the electronic governor solenoid (I think that's what it's called) going out. My buddies truck (stock tuning) had something go wrong with this and it was EXACTLY how you're describing it.

Mine does the same thing from time to time, especially when I get on it. It's usually the 2-3 shift for me. It started the day after I loaded up the first tune (250). I haven't tried to reload tunes and redo trans learning though, this might help.

Mine does the same thing. It did it before I installed the tuner. It seemed to start right after I lifted it.
