Black Maxx TC Lockup and MPG.

I am just curious...where you guys have the TC lock up at and what is your MPG. I see all of these decent MPG's being posted and I only see 10-12 with easy driving and wondering if having my TC lockup at 45 is the reason. I do understand that having my lift and 37's does not help things, but would not mind having a bit more MPG. I have it set to firm shifting also and have run the tuner on all settings with the same results. Not a big deal since I did not buy the truck for the MPG, but wouldn't mind getting a bit more. Thanks in advance!!

Mine is set a 50MPH and last road trip I ended up with 17.2MPG. A 50/50 mix I'll get around 14.8-15. It's just your tires and lift Bro. I just don't believe the guys with a setup like yours saying they get 17-18MPG.

Thanks. Everytime I see a post with higher MPG's I am just wondering what lift and tire combo they have.

I get a constant 13/15mpg and am happy with that since thats about what I got stock. Now it would be different if I had only done a leveling kit would be closer to 16-18 city and about 22hwy

Yea, I don't think that option works yet. Unless H&S got an update out for it to work.

What gear ratio do you have? I am doing a 6" with 37's next week and my truck came with 3:55's hope thats not going to be a problem.By the way it's the same color as yours.
