Dpf delete question...
I've got a 6.4 so is a dpf exhaust safe? I was looking at the tuners that require this mod along with all the factory exhaust sensors removed. I really want better mpg and of course the cool factor of black smoke! Which exhaust would you guys recommend?

well most of the tuners require you to remove the DPF at least, all the vendors on here sell a delete pipe. You don't need a full exhaust, just delete pipes will work just fine. The Spartan tuner will allow you to keep the stock exhaust with their DPF-on tunes. H&S require you to remove it.

Just like Superdutydixie said, we do have both DPF on and DPF off tunes. If you are wanting better fuel mileage you are going to need to remove your dpf plain and simple. If you still have warranty on your truck I would just do a DPF/DOC pipe that way it is a easy install if you need to switch it out. But most vendors carry a dpf removal pipe all the way up to full exhaust. If you need any help or have any questions, pm me and I can help you out! -Angela @ Spartan

I suggest Spartan or SCT for the tuning and Flo-Pro for the exhaust. You can get just the delete pipe(s) or a full system depending on your wants/needs. Both tuners will have several settings to choose from, but the Spartan canned tunes are MUCH better than SCT.
