Aftermarket Exhaust

Hey guys I'm new to this forum and new to diesels but i had a question I'm hoping some of you can answer. I have a 2010 F-250 6.4 and was wondering if putting on an aftermarket exhaust would void the warranty and/or screw up the regen system. Any advice or explanations are greatly appreciated, Thanks!!

DPF back exhaust would not do anything to your warranty and will not affect regen, if you do a downpipe back exhaust system, that's when you start affecting warranty and such.

no and no... because you could only do a filter back kit... it will give you no performance gains or sound diff..... only thing it will do is look better

DPF Back would get rid of the muffler right? I would think it would sound a bit different

Thanks for the replies. What would be a way to make it a little louder without voiding warranty? It almost makes me sad that this truck is so quiet. I don't want to go all out modifying this truck, i did that with my 150 (tuner, exhaust, CAI, lift, etc,) but i do want a little more noise out of it.

ill be honest... if your really worried about voiding the warranty do not do anything to the truck.... i always tell my customers you have to pay to play... so it is a possibility they could void it

My truck has been to 3 different dealers & all were cool with it. I did ask them if they had a problem with a DPF back exhaust before I went to see them.

Every dealer is diff. My dealer is cool was cool with all my aftermarket gadets. But a another dealer down the other way would void me and black flag me if they seen anything. Just have to feel them out before bringing it in
