EBP Absolute Readings for 275 & 310?

Just wondering what you guys are seeing for EBP readings on both the 275 and 310 tunes at both part throttle and WOT.

I'm not intersted in any tunes lower than that.

Thanks

Eviltwins data logs that stuff big time, I'll see if he can get sound exact numbers. When I had his truck last week, 310 tune TCM,EGR blocker plates,4.30 gears,37" tires,6" lift, etc.... it seemed higher in the midrange with ligth load 75-78 but is was trying to go easy on it(breaking in some new parts).

Jesse, did you ever figure out if it should be absolute or desired? Like you said, desired is quite a bit lower.

Hey Jesse, I watched mine closely on the 275v4 today and at part throttle the highest I saw was 84.4. Past part throttle it would start dropping. Is this pressure the cause for internal cooling failures? Thanks.

Hey, I just loaded the 275v3 and was amazed at the difference. The highest I saw part throttle was 54. Egts were at 650 compared to 700 on the 275v4 at cruising speeds. The 275v3 seems to put less stress on the truck.

ABS. will usually be higher than DES, especially with a high HP tune like these.

I could get into the theory behind it, but I'm sure nobody is really interested.

Hey, do you know what pressures start causing head gasket problems or egr cooler problems. That is what I am interested in. Thanks.

It really seems to be hit or miss on these trucks. I honestly believe the yield point on the stock HG and Bolts is about 550rwhp. If you have had a radiator or EGR cooler failure I believe it to be much less than that to be honest with you.

Well, the good thing is I have never had an issue with my trucks, but I would like to know why the pressure is much higher on the v4 than the v3. Part throttle boost is much higher too.
