Questions about my used '08

I bought a 2008 f350 cc with 43000 miles from a dealership about a month and a half ago. I have not seen anything about the truck going into regen on the dash and have put 2000 miles on it. The dealer told me the guy had a dpf delete and tuner on it before he traded in so could the stock file be corrupted keeping it from going into regen or should i just call the dealership? Thanks

Don't think it corrupted otherwise I believe it wouldn't run. Could be that the truck has never been flashed so it will show that's it in regen, or it could have been reflashed but they may have uploaded an old stock file when they returned the truck to stock...

The latest flash actually took away the dash reading that said filter cleaning (or whatever the message was).

really my dealer says my truck has the latest software on it cause i took it to them about a erratic idle during regen. but mine still says cleaning exhaust filter or drive to clean exhaust filter. i really dont like the dealership i been taking it to im thinking about switching dealerships.

I just had my '08 Re-Flashed last Monday and it doesn't show the message anymore! It's only re-gen'd once but there was no message...
