Real Life MPG with Spartan Tuner on the 6.4L
I want real life MPG ons the CAI, Spartan Tuner, DPF/Cat Delete, and so on. What was your MPG before and what is it now. Can't seem to get any honest answers even by searching. I'm trying to Convince my wife but we have the money this year and want to do it but if it takes 5 years to get the money back from MPG I'm not doing it. The power I'm sure is worth it but I need to get some money back from MPG...
What I get now..... Easy driving City/Hwy 14-15 MPG Hard driving City/Hwy 10-12 MPG Easy driving City 9-12 MPG Hard driving City 5-8 MPG Easy driving Hwy 15-18 MPG Hard driving Hwy 13-15 MPG What should I expect afterwards? |

Im currently runing the 250 tune with an aFe OEM replacement filter and a 5" Flo-Pro exhaust and im getting
Easy Driving: 18-20 mixed Hard Driving: 15-17 mixed This is with no lift and stock wheels/tires. |

Was seeing 11-12 mpg before spartan (stock). Now seeing 15-16 with 4.5" lift & 37" Spartan 275 tune
What is your email some guy made a fuel spreadsheet from spartans forums. You can put in cost of fuel and before / after mileage will let you know how long till it pays for itself fun to mess with. |

I run the 210 and have been an average of 17mpg mixed. You also can extend your oil changes since there is no more fuel contamination from the regen.

Forget the TCM, run the 275 tune which is probably the best tune for MPG and call it a day.... The TCM is really only needed for the 310 tune....

I AVERAGED around 14mpg with 38s, and now around 13mpg with 40s, I seen 18-19 hwy with 38s about 17 with the 40s....this is running the 310 tune
I have set mine to stock before with the DPF on and got 8 with the 38s in town and 9 highway for a comparison. Expect a SOLID 3-5 mpg increase..but much improved overall drivability and course way more power |

I have seen barley any increase in MPG with my spartan, was averaging 11.5 mixed now getting 12.5 mixed. I hope this is because I'm in a cold weather climate and the truck runs cold most trips as I only have a 20 minute commute.

It all depends on your truck, we all get different results some not as good as others. Mine was 10city/14hwy now Spartan 275 12.5/18

The cold definatley has a say so in your MPG. Since it got cold here my MPG has droped dramatically. I would honistly be expecting somewhere in the early 20s when it warms up.
