New Air Intake and the check engine light is on

I just istalled a new air intake last night and the check engine came on driving to work. Anyone know what is causing this?

Is the truck stock other than the intake?

That is why there is a check engine light. Some intakes do not throw them (S&B), but others like the AFE and Airaid will cause a check engine light.

Will it hurt anything to run it like this? and I am guessing the only fix is to purchase a tuner.

Yea, a tuner is the way to go. It will probably go off eventually with a few key cycles, or at least mine did. But will come back.
