who is runing spartan 310 ????

Hi now that stuff has been out for awhile who is runing the 310 for an everyday driver and is it with the spartan tcm or without ?? does the tcm get rid of that hard jolting shift?? thanks

Many people are running it as daily driver with and without the TCM, but it is recommended that you run it with the Spartan TCM....especially if you have a stock Job 1 TCM. It won't cause your shifts to not be as hard, but it will result in very predictable smoother shifting. The shifts are still firm, just much smoother in general and spot on.

I have the 310 w/TCM, but prefer the 275 for daily use. At least until my trans upgrades are installed.

Do you have to do a relearn process with the stock tcm and with the 310 tune???

I would perform the relearn process every time you change tunes no matter what TCM your running. I ran the 310 for a few month prior to the TCM release and now I run it with the TCM. Shifting is very firm and fast but not violent by my standards. I have a Job 1 F450 with 4.88 gears and that does make thing a little different than a say 3.73 gear SRW truck.

I recommend it. Letting the tranny learn is very important when adding that much horsepower.

i have run the 310 on my job 1, 2,and 3 trucks with no tcm and have had zero issues. shifts are not super hard and i have never done a relearn process for shifting. i just loaded the 310 program and drove the trucks. job 1 shifts as good as the other two and i have never monitered any slipping at wot or any speed. i ran the 275 before that all the time with no issues. 310 shifts easier than the 275 in my opinion.
