Either way, Muffler or no muffler, it should not really affect the in cab noise. It will be louder outside, but inside will not be a noticeable change. I am sure others will chime in..

I don't notice a difference in the cab on my truck. I have a 4" turbo back setup without a muffler. Sounds great outside the cab and has no noticeable difference inside the cab.

Mine seems to have less engine noise when cruising at highway speeds , with Black Maxx and S&B intake. JIM

No change inside unless you roll the windows down then it is very loud. I have 5" no muffler, thinking about installing the muffler because its is very loud when pulling a load if you want the windows down.
