Spartan tuning

I just ordered the spartan dash daq with the 310 tune. I dont have it yet. I was wondering how exactly it is when you are switching the truck to different tunes? Do you have to do a relearn process with every different tune you put in?

my understanding is yes, you need to relearn with every tune change, no matter what tuner...

Tcm

Like a process every time or will it learn on its own?

If your reloading race tunes, I would do the relearn process that Spartan has posted on their forum and in the TCM instructions. If you reload to a lower tune, then you really don't need to do a specified relearn. The race tunes do need the relearn process. I would do it on the 210 and up tunes.

Here is the process Spartan has....

1.) From a stop, accelerate the vehicle to 55-60 mph at approximately 1/4 throttle. DO THIS TWICE.
2.) From a stop, accelerate the vehicle to 65-70 mph at approximately 1/2 throttle. DO THIS TWICE.
3.) From a stop, accelerate the vehicle to 70 mph at approximately 3/4 throttle. DO THIS TWICE.
4.) From a 40 mph roll, press the accelerator to the floorboard quickly (forcing the truck to downshift) and accelerate to around 75 mph.
5.) From a stop, acclerate to 75 mph at wide open throttle (press the accelator to the floor immediately). DO THIS 2-3 TIMES.
