I just picked up a 2010 250 Harley Edition and its amazing but it needs more umph. This is my first diesel truck and so I am a little unsure what to do with it so I need some experienced insight.

So I have been reading about the BlackMaxx tuner and it definitely seems like the tuner for me. I want reliability along with power. I don't need anything insane because I have the Z06 for that. I want to be able to tow the car and not feel that I am towing anything behind me.

Also I know I need to do the DPF delete and so is there any recommended pipe for that?

What intake should I run?

Anything else I should do such as traction bars? And I read that those help with the shimming. Is that when you are driving down the highway and the truck kinda wiggles when you go over a bump?

How easy is it to do the installs? I am pretty mechanical savvy so I don't mind doing much.

And any opinions on the RollNLock system that runs on the remote?

first of all welcome to the Org bud... as far as tuners for your truck the blackmaxx is a great tuner... but... remember you have to pay to play so it is possible for you to lose your warranty so you always have to keep that in mind.... as for the intake i would go with the S&B intake... best bang for your bucks...if your looking for a whole package deal let me know and ill shoot one over to you...

I run the spartan and h&s. If your wanting to just have alittle more umpf and be able to tow easy then go with the H&S the shift on the fly is great and customer service is the BEST. I run the spartan cause of other mods and the higher hp tunes but thats me. Welcome to the org and congrats on the truck.

Also if you ever did want to go into higher HP mods casey @ h&S is VERY willing to work with you on custom tunes and really knows his stuff.

Just my 2 cents and post some pics of that ride.
