Running the truck without EGT sensor??

Hypothetically speaking.... if a friend of mine were to do the DPF/DOC delete install... and they cant get the rear sensor out... can they still run the truck till they get a new one to put in the pipe?? will it throw a code or do any kind of damage?

Depends on which tuner they are using. With anything other than the H&S, you have to have the sensors connected or else the truck will eventually die and will not crank.
