To elaborate, do you know how much these motor cost? Or how eager fomoco would be to void your warranty with that setup? Use motorcraft or Racor (makes motorcraft) filters to protect your engine and wallet. Just my

It's a neat idea, but I wouldn't run them. Only Motorcraft filters for me.

I have one on my truck, have had for about 2 years.
Do the research educate yourself with the info on the filter itself.
I am very pleased with mine. I am anal about maint., change the oil every 3k, and was shocked at how much crud the filter picked up after only 1k miles.
Blackstone shows some improvement as well. I was relucant at first, and still have some FoMoCo filters in the shed, but have no regrets whatsoever.
Just another opinion.

@ $489 for my 7.3L....um.....no....thanks. I can buy a lot of filters for that.
