MPG report with 250 spartan tune....

Alright, everyone always wants to hear mpg reports so here's mine. Last tank I reached 421 miles before fill up with computer telling me I still had 30 miles to go to E. Filled up with 27 gallons which equals out to 15.6 mpg average. I tried to keep my foot out of it, but there were 2 kills on this tank. New used cummins owner (still had temp tag) thought he'd try me. Then an eclipse with the bug fart muffler tried smoking me from a light to get in front of me. Surprised the chit outa him LOL. I love Spartan. My best average stock was 14.4 all most all hwy miles. This tank was probably half hwy, half town and back roads. I made it a point to set my cruise at 73 while on the interstate to try and get an acurate average. I'm still waiting to get an almost all hwy mpg to see what it does on long trips, and while towing. I never got 400 miles before on a tank so loving that part and with diesel prices on the rise every little bit helps out.

Yea, I thought so. I figure I'm getting between 17-18 on the hwy. Not bad for a 8k lb. truck imo.

Also for the record, my truck is a cc/sb, 4wd, stock 20" wheels and tires, 3:73 gears, AFE intake and dp back exhaust no muffler.

Not bad huh? I feel thats an honest gain to expect from your truck after tuning. Plus the added benefit of stopping the regen process.
