Need Spartan for F550

Who do you guys buy ur Spartan programmer/dpf delete from. I don't know if I just get it from Spartan or check out these other guys? I wonder if price is set across board or some will deal! And I've also got to call Spartan this morning to see if they offer anything for my truck since mine only has 325 hp stock and it is 550 with 176" cab to axle. I guess my biggest ? Is my 550 same as a 1 ton jus different axles, leaf springs, etc.

I was going to ask the same thing this morning. I have an F450 & F550 at my shop. One has a big box on it, the other is a flat bed. Question being, if I put a spartan on it without the DPF delete (these are DOT tagged trucks not worth the risk) will it help me out with the fabulous fuel economy I am currently seeing? or should I just save my money for fuel?

My understanding from reading many threads here is that DPF on tunes will not net much MPG gains...but it will net you some fun!

I posted up here about tuning my F450 and got some great information Thanks.

I need thoughts though. My truck has a large box on it, and I do not plan on changing the exhaust, no DPF or Cat delete. I really don't want to/plan to change the intake either. Am I wasting my money to buy a Livewire or Spartan for this truck? I am not sure what it is weighing in at these days but a while back we took it to the scales and it was at 12,500 or so with all the equipment in it. Please give me your thoughts/ experiences with this kind of situation. thanks.
