i have to give the spartan tuner a A++++, a little over a month now i picked up the spartan tuner (250 tune), AFE stage II intake and cat/dpf delete... and it has transformed this truck into a beast... highley recomended for anyone looking to go with a tuner! with all that said, i just picked up the mounting pod today from my buddys shop who painted it and just finished it up... check it out....

yea you would have the remove the entire pod if you wanted to do that, you use a mounting brack that you screw to the back of the dd and clamps onto the pod so it would be a pain in the *** to unscrew and screw it in every day, i would just pull the pod w/the dd out and unplud it and let the wire hang there...
i saw a guys post a pic that mounted the dd in the flip down cup holder... this might be an idea if your trying to hide it...

That sucks to hear man. I get paranoid about my DashDAQ from time to time depending on where I am. I put it in the center console so no one sees it in the truck and think its a GPS.

i got the pod at aaron at rudy's. hes awsome to deal with had my tuner and delete in three days... awsome service!
