DPF Delete Video

Ok, not sure if this has been posted (searched but no luck) but I found the following video of a DPF delete "install". I figured this could help someone out like it is heping me to prepare to tackle this job with my limited mechanic abilities...lol

Mods if this needs to go in the video section please move it, just thought it would get more exposure here.

Good video...the Spartan kit is a much simpler install than that though. Mechanically the same, but none of the additional sensor wiring is needed.

yeah he started talking emulators and crap and I was like, WTF? But I figured it still showed enough of the DPF removal to be useful. I am guessing removing the CAT is just as easy. Do you even have to unbolt the DPF from the CAT? Seems you could take it out as one piece...

Yes, you can take them both down in one piece if you are deleting both. I only did the DPF by itself like the guy in the video did.

Would you have to take them apart after in order to get the gasket between the cat and dpf or do you even need the gasket with the dpf and cat delete pipes?

Is the performance gained from removing the cat worth the risk of getting caught without a cat?

If you delete both, there is no reason to take them apart, it comes out as one unit and lowers down. You might want to have some help lowering it, I do it by myself, but it's heavy.

lol.... thats definitely the "hard way". Separating the dpf from doc? Wiring and connectors? Emulators? Jacks?

Nice for those unfamiliar to see where everything is though.
