Exhaust? Turbo back

Ok, brow beat me, I am a newbie here sold my dodge quad cab, and looking to purchase a 08 crewcab 6.4l powerstroke. I have a new addition to the family, and now need to take 4 adults and one child seat to the races.
Back on topic. Is there a complete kit out there for a turbo-back exhaust? I know all about the cat and DPF I am not new to diesels. I plan to buy a Spartan Tuner, just undecided on exhaust and air filter kit. Point me in the right direction.

There is not technically a turbo back kit, but there are downpipe's available. I also recommend the AFE PG-7 cold air intake. I also recommend doing the Flo-Pro ball and socket downpipe when it comes available. It will be $299 for 4" stainless downpipe that can hook back up to your DPF/DOC if you need to put it back the truck.

do you think the new down-pipe is necesary? or just get the down-pipe back? What tunes should I get? I want one for hot-rodding around town, and one for towing my 28' race car trailer, other than that I have a 16' enclose aluminum snowmobile trailer for runs up north. Just seeing which tunes you guys would recommend.

The downpipe not necessary, but it will help with EGT's and spool up. We have ball/socket style downpipe's available now as well. I would just recommend a downpipe back exhaust system or just a DPF/CAT Delete pipe for ease of going back to stock if you need to. Let us know if we can help!

Aaron is right about the downpipe not being necessary. The Spartan tuner comes preloaded with 8 tunes. Stock no DPF, 40 hp, 75 hp, 120 hp, 150 hp, 175 hp, 210 hp, and 250 hp. The only other tunes are the 275 and 310 tunes.

so, let me get this straight. Do I really need a dpf back exhaust? Just get the DPF delete pipe and run the rest of the factory exhaust? The stock muffler is not a problem? Here in Michigan, I need to run stainless exhaust or it will rust and fall off in two years. The truck I am looking at only has 49,000 miles on it. So I may need to return it to stock quickly if need to take it in for any waranty work.

I would do atleast a dpf/cat delete we have them in-stock in stainless. The factory tailpipe assembly is suffiecent for just about any tune. Let us know if we can help you out in any way!!!
