Muffler Delete?

hey fellas...ive had a 5" magnaflow downpipe back exhaust along with a cat and dpf delete for about 6 months now. was cleaning out gagrage last night and stumbled acroos the meffler delete pipe for the exhaust. what changes would take place if i were to delete the muffler? any gains in performance? would the tone of the exhasut change, and if so beter or worse? thanks!

Not sure of you will get any performance gains but the exhaust note will turn to that more airy wooosh sound.

Cobb's has a 5" Magnaflow with the muffler. I used to have a 5" Magnaflow w/o the muffler. I think his sounds better at idle and just a aggressive in the throttle. The muffler dampens the rush of air sound that you get from a straight pipe. I think the muffler is probably better on the truck than off...
