Coolant filter from the diesel site
Has anyone run one of these. I know its not gona make you go faster but from longevity stand point I though it might be good. Its not very high on my list but thought I would throw it out there since Ive never seen anyone talk about it.

There is alot of people running them and one is on the top of my to do list. Being in school kinda makes things slow down a bit.
I have only heard great things about them and i look at it as its better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. |

I have one on my 6.0 and it does a great job at filtering the coolant. I found its much cheaper to buy the filters locally though!

Cool how often do you have to change the filter?

I have two buddies running them, they said run your first one for 500 miles and then change it and cut the used one open and look at the crap it caught and you will be shocked. I think it come with 3 filters too.

Like mentioned above, first one at 500-1000 miles, then after that you just grab the hose returning to the degass bottle. If its scalding hot the filter is good, if it is warm and you can keep holding it then its time to change it. This is the way I do it.
