EGR block off
I have been reading info about the EGR block offs and the EGR delete kits and have a few questions that I couldnt find answers to except on site that were tryin to sell me something. The delete kits talk about backpressure problems but dont explain problems that it will cause. If someone could just lay the good and bad about block offs and delete kits on here I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance

Back pressure is increased with power. The Elite complete EGR delete comes with a wastegate for the turbos to release that pressure. The block off plates increase drive pressure. Back pressure is an issue period because these turbos do not come wastegated. The complete delete from Elite would be the best option if your willing to spend the money on it. The blocker plates that Cobb's Diesel Performance offers provide for great insurance for if your EGR cooler were to bust. They slightly lower EGT's as well.
