tuning or egr issue?
For about the last couple months I have been noticing that the egr on my truck has been open while im driving more than it has bee shut. The difference in power is dramatic.
At least I think it is EGR...the exhaust note completely changes.
When it seems to be open it will build up to 35lbs of boost really fast and not really go anywhere. I have been running the spartan 210 tune almost exclusively for a year. I just switched to the 175 yesterday and it didn't do it as much though it has opened while driving. Also on the 210 I had been running it for about 3000mi without reloading. I had previously tried to reload it and it didnt help.
I also cannot get a reading for the egr duty cycle on the dash daq. I previously did. Nothing has been changed on the truck and it has not been serviced.
DO I just need a new egr valve? I am getting PO'd and I'm ready to get an egr block off.
