Air intake Temps

Quick question on all your intake temps. Today temperature outside was 85 but the air intake temp was reading 113 - 115 dropping to around 103 in between red lights. I could of sworn before it was normally 5 - 10 degrees warmer than ambient air temp outside if even that.

Running the spartan 210 and S&B intake. What temps are you seeing?

mine usually runs about 4 degrees higher than ambient. check your black hose on the back side of the airbox to make sure it hasn't slid off...might be pulling warm air from the engine compartment.

I haven't ever paid attention to it but yesterday I was reading 150 degree's at one point while sitting still. Whats the downfall to getting hotter air through the intake?
