Just a heads up for those about to install Spartan's TCM (instructions)

If you can't seem to get your hands on the 2 13MM bolts and get them loose on the frame mount bracket, you can use a 8 mm flex rachet wrench and take the 2 bolts out that hold the TCM to the mounting bracket instead

I'm not clear on why Ford sells it with a bracket too. It makes no sense at all. I bought a Horizontal Fuel Conditioning Module (pump/filter thingy) for my 2004 E450 and it came with a big black bracket much like the TCM has, and I don't have a clue why. It was way easier to just unbolt the HFCM than it was to remove the bracket/HFCM.

I took one look at the new TCM, and I had already decided that I was going to cheat and do it the way that was described here.
