Dashdaq auto-turnoff

Do any of ya'lls actually do this? If I leave one of the gauge views up, I have to manually turn off my dashdaq. When I go to any other screen, the unit will turn off if I haven't touched the screen in about 30 seconds. Is this how this feature is supposed to work? I was kinda under the assumption that it'd turn off the unit x seconds after the truck turns off. It has never worked.

My does it randomly, usually right after I have loaded a tune and go back to the gauges screen during the 10 seconds I have the key off. Other than that, it will stay on all night if I forget to turn it off...

If it's set up correctly it should power off within the time limit you have set on the DashDAQ. There are some changes you can make to get it to work correctly if you are having problems with it not powering down within the time limit that's set up on the DashDAQ.....
