Understandable and we don't want to chase you off. It's just that banks power is a heated topic at times, especially when someone says they are the best when they are clearly far from it. Some people think the Donahoe truck is neat, but it would be easy for another company to build one to compete with it. Actually I think Kore has a Cummins powered truck that did real well. Didn't the Donahoe burn itself up from a leak or something? The road race truck is nice but I could care less about it. I don't really care about the sidewinder 222mph pickup, lots of gearing and a good bump in power - big feat there. He has some nice stuff, but I just feel he preys on uninformed people then bends them over. If his stuff was so much better than everyone elses then he should sell it for cheaper IMO.

Yeah I can see the Banks power is a heated subject :nono: Your right on the price when he bends people over, the prices for the kits are unreal, as for the Donahoe truck, the transmission line melted because of the heat from the down pipe and then the tranny fluid leaked on to the down pipe and almost burnt the truck to the ground as the Off-Road magazine editor said. Anyway enough about Banks, I'm just glad I found a site were guys actually know what they are talking about... :burnout

Ever litigate anything before?
Right or wrong has nothing to do with it.
It all boils down to who can spend the most time and money on lawyers, discovery, deposition, and more time and money before the other blinks. I guarantee Ford has more of everything, and they won't blink...
You may or may not win, but it will cost you 100X more than your original "fix" to get there.

Your absolutely correct, but the mention of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act seen to calm them down when they throw that warranty revocation out there so freely. I had run in with the Ford dealer her in NC regarding the AFE intake and the fault codes generated. After talking to the district, and local store manager we resolved it pretty quickly. I had to return the truck to stock configuration and then they rest the computer.

I'm new here, finally found a site where some people are knowledgeable about powerstrokes. Just some info for ya'll that are arguing over the exhaust and warranty. I have a 08 6.4 w/ 5" straight exhaust, tuner and intake kit. It performs like a dream and I have had it back to the stealership one time for the radiator having a defect and leaking and they didn't even pay any attention to the fact that it had mods. It had nothing to do with me knowing someone there, it was the first time I ever set foot in that particular stealership.
