Dyno Results

This is a few weeks old but I never posted it over here so I figured I would.

Went over to Mid-Atlantic Diesel this morning in Mt Airy, MD. Gotta say great guys, real cool and down to earth. Anyone in the area I definitely recommend going to see them. Anyways. Corrected my Best numbers were around 540 HP and 1050 ft/lbs on the 310. I was hoping to hit close to 600 with the meth, but it wasn't injecting i think my pump may have gone bad. If you look at the bottom he made a note whether the meth was on or not but overlaid the runs are practically identical so the meth def. wasn't getting to the engine. Either way, with wheels and tires weighing in at 165 lbs a piece on a big lifted truck I would say that 540 on fuel only is a good achievement. Next time I dyno I should have my down pipe, intercooler tube, and meth working so hopefully i'll have some better numbers.

Will post back with the videos when I get them up. Having some problems with the uploading program.

Holy smoke! My truck hardly smokes at all on the dyno with the 275 tune. I haven't seen that much smoke out of any 6.4 actually.

What are your other mods? Don't those numbers seem a little low for the 310 tune?

No I was the one holding the camera.

I have S&B CAI, Banks single exhaust, and Snow Stage 3 MPG MAX (wasn't working, go figure).

Looking at the numbers you have to take into account the big tires and the lift. There are other trucks making more power on the 310 tune, but they don't have 4 165 lb wheels/tires to roll. They usually have the stockers on.

I was just comparing your numbers to mine seeing that we are both running over sized wheels and tires. I haven't weighed my wheels/tires yet, but they are 20 inch wheels on 37 inch tires, (on a side note, what is your setup? your avitar pics is awesome). I know every dyno is a little different aswell. I'm just up in the air about purchasing the 310 tune for my truck. My truck is a Job 1 so I would be into it $700 for the tune and the TCM upgrade and I really don't think I want to spend the money if I only have 18 RWHP to gain.

eh. I know eventually I'll break down and do it anyway.....lol
