Sled Pull last night in White Plains, GA

Went to White Plains, GA last night to the Liberty Antique Tractor Pull. They did a 7500 lb Open and Street class, and a 8500 lb Open and Street class. I pulled in both 8500 lb classes. This was my first time ever hooking a truck to a sled, so the nerves were flying. Pulled 253 feet and 263 feet. The track was extremely dry and hard, so I kept letting out of it thinking I was wheel hopping, but I never wheel hopped once. It kind of makes me mad because I could have really got in to it and probably made full pulls. I was happy with it for it being my first time pulling though, and will most likely go back now that I some what know what I am doing. I ran the 275 v4. I will have video up later tonight.

Yea, I was extremely nervous. Very happy that nothing broke, and I was pretty happy with the pulls for my first time.

did you just put it in 4 low and drive and put the hammer down tell she moved or howd you do it

I did 4 low and 3rd gear. Eased it to get it moving and then began hammering it

Videos of your pulls and Kyle popping his driveshaft would be great. What would be even better would be a video of the lifted LMM D/Max who about touched his tires together

I wish we had taken some vids of that LMM. I will post up Kyle's video as well.

If you can figure out how to get them on YouTube..... I am not real sure how to do it though. My girlfriend has software that came with her video camera that puts it on YouTube for us.
