Question

I got my suncoast direct solenoid today and was just about to pull the truck in and get started when I thought of this. Do I need to replace the pan gasket since i'm dropping the whole pan?

Yes. IMHO I would never try to reuse a pan gasket.

The factory gasket is perfectly fine to re-use, go right ahead and put it in!

Alrighty, got two different answers but I'm gonna go ahead and go with reusing it because I don't feel like waiting to get one...plus that's more money.

BTW, read on a thread today about torque converter slippage on the 08's with Spartan tune so I set that guage to read out and I think mine is bad. Hoping not tho. What's everybody else max RPM on that before the lockup?

I see really high before lock-up, dont worry about that. The lock-up RPM at WOT is where you need to monitor the most
