Tuner and DPF delete pipe
I know this topic has been discussed at length. I have a 2008 F250 SD and am giving serious thought to having a DPF/CAT delete pipe and tuner installed. I have over 25K on the truck and am not concerned with good quarter mile times. I would like to get better fuel economy and a bit more acceleration off the line. I'm also concerned about warranty ramifications. I'm looking for the collective best thoughts of this forum. Thanks

I'm thinking in the $1500-$1700 range installed

Good to hear, Spartan or SCT is the way to go then, you can't beat custom tunes. I'll let our vendors take it from here, good luck

everyone here raves about Spartan, so that should tell you something for sure. And it seems to be in your price range.

If that is your price range, Spartan is what I reccomend

EDIT: I did read on another thread that pretty much the dealership can 100% tell if the truck has been tuned and your screwed the second you tune it. Any truth to this? If so I might not(unfortunately) . These problems on the PSD seem to be very costly. Last edited by superdutydixie; 08-20-2009 at 02:01 AM. |
